Duties of An Assistant Relationship Manager

Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage client relationships by offering value-added advice and guidance to customers and placing their needs at the forefront to achieve desired objectives of the bank in line with the required standards.
  • Grow sustainable revenues from existing customer portfolio and through targeted acquisition of quality new customers.
  • Proactively develop effective plans to manage relationships, both existing and new, by anticipating customer needs and providing superior quality services resulting in increased wallet share.

Portfolio Management

  • Monitor and control customer portfolios to achieve desired quality through cross sell, upsell and retention.
  • Increase profitability, relationship depth while minimising risk to ensure an healthy portfolio.
  • Optimise the potential value and profitability of existing relationships by assisting in the delivery of solutions, products and services appropriate to meet customer need and to improve customer engagement.
  • Establish an effective dialogue/ working relationship with Risk Management teams in order to build a sustainable asset growth.

Customer Service

  •  Apply the ADCB service standards to deliver the banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

Volume Delivery

  • To deliver the financial target as agreed with the business head.

Self Management

  • Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, practices and procedures to ensure adherence and maximise own contribution to business performance.

Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures

  • Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.

Qualification Requirements for Role of An Assistant Relationship Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance or Economics.
  • At least 2 years of relationship management experience in banking/financial services industry.
  • CISI Level 3 wealth management & SCA certification of UAE rules & regulation requirement.
  • Understanding of wealth management products and services.
