Job Description
An Assistant Nurse OPD at Mediclinic will provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company. Duties as Assistant Nurse OPD
- Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation.
- Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with appropriate MCME risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
- Contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Maintain the on going communication with the staff nurse regarding the health status of patients.
- Act as patient advocate.
- Demonstrate an understanding of patient’s privacy and confidentiality of information at all times.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
