Responsibilities of Assistant Marketing Manager

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager in implementing short and long term resort strategies and multi channel marketing initiatives that align with Sales & Marketing Department’s annual revenue goals.
  • Provide full support to the Marketing Manager to deliver all Rooms, Spa and C&I campaigns and projects for Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Establish campaign KPIs for success and maximise ROI.
  • Together with the Digital Marketing Manager and Media Buying Agency to plan and launch advertising campaigns for local and international.
  • Manage creative development for advertising media campaigns and effective delivery of ads per the media plan.
  • Ensure campaign and project expenses are within set budgets.
  • Monitor campaign performance with agencies and proactively suggest ways to optimise.
  • Support the PR & Communications Manager on content requirements for social media support when required.
  • Ensure Jumeirah Beach Hotel website content is up-to-date and aligned with the established web content standards.

What You’ll Do More?

  • Maintain up-to-date hotel assets on Jumeirah Brand Hub (online library).
  • Manage relationships with different types of agencies and suppliers. Source new suppliers as required adhering to the procurement process.
  • Work closely with Revenue, Spa and C&I to communicate all offers accurately.
  • Ensure that Public Relations and Communications teams are involved in marketing campaigns, where applicable, to maximise audience and reach.
  • Ensure all collaterals and marketing materials comply with Jumeirah brand standards, including VSG, LSG and PSG.
  • Provide the required marketing support to the different departments within the Dubai team including Corporate, GCC, Leisure and Groups Sales.
  • Execute photography-related projects and arrange video/photo shoots in adherence to brand Photography & Videography Style Guidelines.
  • Maintain an artwork archive within the designated location.
  • Ongoing competitor reviews and checks to identify special offers and activities done by the hotels in the competitive set.
  • Ensure that projects and campaigns are delivered at a high standard, aligned with brand guidelines, and within set budget and deadline frameworks.
  • Mentor direct reports and provide support for their professional growth.

Requirements of Assistant Marketing Manager

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing / Advertising / Media.
  • Minimum 2-4 years marketing experience with luxury or hospitality brands.
  • Proven experience in delivering integrated campaigns.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • A proven understanding of the luxury segment/guest.
  • Sound knowledge of drafting creative briefs, campaign development, implementation, and measurement.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to deliver high quality marketing materials in alignment with brand standards.
  • Strong technical understanding of photography and rich media.
  • Outstanding English written and verbal.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a high-performance team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
