Job Description

Assistant Manager Supply Chain at Albatha Group will contribute to the satisfaction of the export customers of the company by fulfilling the post sales requirement and ensure smooth flow of information with respect to the shipments. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-22000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Assistant Manager Supply Chain

  • Key Performance Area 1: Customer Satisfaction
  • Ensure timely processing of purchase orders and follow up on the same to process the letters of credit to the suppliers
  • Coordination with Inspection Companies and the suppliers to smoothen export deliveries.
  • Follow up for Letters of Credit from customers and presenting the same to the banks in a timely manner
  • Follow up of external shipment documents incl. Certificate of origin, Bill of Lading, Inspection Certificate, Insurance Certificate and required certificates as per rules and regulation of exporting countries.
  • Key Performance Area 2: Business Performance
  • Develop the business relation with customers for smooth shipment.
  • To minimize cost of the product by negotiating the Freight rates and maintain the smooth relationship with shipping company to ensure timely receipt of documents.
  • Develop the business relation with inspection companies to get the timely inspection done and acquiring inspection certificate.
  • Develop business relation with banks for timely receipt of acceptance and payments for the export documents
  • Follow up with Banks and customers for Export receipts and customers.

  • Support business strategy to ensure the success of the company in line with the mission, vision, and objectives of the company.
  • Key Performance Area 4: Leadership
  • Ensure timely delivery of documents to the customers.

Requirements for Role of Assistant Manager Supply Chain

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min 7 years of experience in Supply Chain (Export, Customs Clearance & Warehouse operations)
  • Hands-on experience with Export Documentation, Custom Clearance.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of Letter of Credits and Export Finance.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures.
  • Knowledge of Inspection procedure for different countries.
  • Knowledge of Export Procedures.
  • Communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP-MM s& SD modules.
