Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Assistant Manager PR & Communications. The job holder will supports public relations and communication strategies, manages media relations, and helps in brand promotion and messaging. Responsibilities of Assistant Manager PR & Communications

  • Responsible for Media relations with key media and social media influencers to effectively position the resort.
  • Responsible for managing and implementing F&B, Rooms and Lifestyle marketing campaigns and projects both online and offline at hotel level.
  • Actively monitor, guide and implement Jumeirah’s brand standards ensuring full compliance with the Jumeirah brand VSG, LSG and PSG.
  • Provide support to the Marketing & Communications Director on the day-to-day operations and in driving different marketing activities to maximize stakeholders’ satisfactions.
  • To be responsible for visiting media as well as contractors and ensure their visits run according to agreed schedules, mainly for all Arabic media.
  • To organize and conduct photo and film shoots.
  • To liaise closely with the DOMC and DOSM and ensure excellent communications are maintained.
  • Management of Jumeirah Brand press office with a focus on UAE and GCC as well as providing support to international agencies with regards to information and image requests.
  • Receiving, evaluating and responding to information, visit, partnership and other requests from the media.
  • Supporting the Senior PR Executive, in developing and managing an Influencer program for the markets, building and leveraging relationships to create advocacy and third-party content.
  • Implementation of social media strategy and effective management of all social media channels through social calendar.
  • Monitoring of channels and responding to direct messages and queries.
  • Thorough analysis of reports and continuous optimisation.
  • Provide full support to the Marketing & Communications Director on daily basis in all marketing activities for hotel campaigns and projects.
  • Complete assigned tasks within the pre-determined deadlines.
  • Support the Marketing & Communications Director in managing quotes and coordinating approvals with various suppliers.
  • Liaising with Supply & Chain Logistics for quotations.
  • Execute and periodically adjust the marketing plans.
  • Ensure the CRM system is always up to date with all marketing campaigns and projects.

What Will be Your General Tasks?

  • Assist the Marketing & Communications Director in preparing marketing activity plans as well as fully integrated marketing campaigns for all segments with relevant buy in from all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the website is fully updated, in line with the standards established for website content.
  • Manage relationships with different types of agencies and suppliers making sure those partners fully understand and maximise the value of the hotel.
  • Ensure that Public Relations and Communications teams are involved in marketing campaigns, where applicable, to maximise audience reach.
  • Improve ROI for all Rooms, Restaurants & Lifestyle as well as establish campaigns KPIs for success.
  • Track productivity of each marketing activity planned and executed by the individual using the CRM system.
  • Ensure that all collaterals and marketing materials adhere to the Jumeirah brand standards.
  • Provide the required marketing support to the different departments within the Sales team including Corporate, GCC, Leisure and Groups Sales in addition to the PR team.
  • Execute projects related to photography and arrange photo shoots in adherence to brand Photography Style Guidelines.
  • Implement and manage the process of Marketing Services Request Forms as per the departmental standard and process these requests to get back to the stakeholders as per agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate and drive proactive social media updates.
  • Ensure the brand promise of STAY DIFFERENT™ comes across in all marketing projects and Ongoing competitor reviews and checks to identify special offers and activities done by the hotels in the competitive set.
  • Adhere to the procurement process in the standard set out by the department and manage marketing investment based on budget and forecasts and with help and support from the Marketing & Communications Director.

Requirements of Assistant Manager PR & Communications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
  • 2 -5 years’ experience in Communications and PR preferably within the international luxury hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong media contacts within top tier luxury, lifestyle, fashion and business press.
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification is desirable.
  • Any second language form the following ones (German, Russian or Arabic) beside English will be an advantage.
  • Understanding loyalty and customer relationship management.
  • Market research capabilities for competitor reviews.
  • Good time management and prioritising capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Project management skills.
  • Arabic language
