Job Description

Seddiqi Holding presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Assistant Manager (Jewellery) in Dubai. Candidate will be responsible for the Jewellery department and all aspects of its administration, production, equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities of Assistant Manager

  • Operational: Assist in the overall management of the Jewellery workshop, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities, including production, quality control and workflow management.
  • Ensure all cleaned & Jewellery repairs leaving the department meet SWS & Brand specifications.
  • To ensure the SLA’s for Jewellery Repairs and cleaning are achieved.
  • Set agreed production targets for all team members and ensure they achieve them.
  • Ensure the monitoring of equipment performance and adherence to health and safety rules.
  • Ensure that all team members are trained to the appropriate level.
  • Produce annual objectives for the department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure meeting department SLA’s and productivity targets.
  • Continuous review of departmental working practices to propose improvements.
  • Manage day to day HR matters such as annual leave, sickness and communication.
  • Manage day to day workload of the team.
  • Ensure that you correctly allocate all jobs in the technical unit.
  • Handle customer support department inquiries and concerns by resolving the issues promptly.

Requirements for Role of Assistant Manager

  • High School or equivalent and Jewellery School Diploma or Indentured Experience
  • 3-5 years experience in administration, management and 2+ years experience in running a team.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
