Al Tayer Group is presently accepting applications from qualified and passionate candidates for the role of an  Assistant Manager Finance in Garhoud Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities of An Assistant Manager Finance

  • Perform monthly consolidation for the Group
  • Preparation of monthly financial consolidated reporting (Financial Statements format).
  • HO Actual reporting and monitoring.
  • HO Budget & Forecast.
  • Obtain insurance certificates for the business where required.
  • Submit monthly inventory declarations to the insurance company.
  • Advise the business and manage the claims process for the Group where an incident has occurred.
  • Liaise with Loss Adjusters in the settlement of claims.
  • Setup quarterly meetings with the insurance brokers to review the claims ratio.
  • Setup and monitor tracker for the completion of the audits of all the companies (incl. JVs) within the Group Financial Statements.
  • Prepare year-end consolidation and Financial Statements for the Al Tayer Group in accordance with IFRS.
  • Liaise directly with the auditors for the audit of the consolidation and the financial statements.
  • Lead and manage the application of Financial Accounting Policies and implementation of new accounting standards which are applicable across the Group.
  • Ensure the Policy Manual reflects the latest IFRS standards and adherence to this policy by the Finance teams compliance to accounting standards and continuously monitor of the effectiveness of such policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement Supervise the monitoring of the effectiveness policies and procedures, and implement risk mitigation elements.
  • Support improvement of financial processes across the Group.
  • Ensure that only Valid, Accurate and Complete Vendor details are loaded into the system.
  • Provide regular guidance to the business as to the correct documentation to be uploading for vendor masters.
  • Own the SLA’s for Vendor Master and Insurance claims and ensure regular communication of this SLA to the businesses.

Qualification Requirements for Role of Assistant Manager Finance

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
