Duties of An Assistant Manager Aquarium

• Provide and oversee healthy and sanitary living conditions, proper nutrition and constant care for all marine animals.
• Demonstrate the ability to mentor, coach and give direction to junior level positions with confidence.
• Constant care of all marine animals and exhibits through managing programs to maintain sanitary living conditions and proper nutrition.
• Maintain and perform routine & preventative maintenance on all dive and exhibit equipment.

Requirements for Role of Assistant Manager Aquarium

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• At least 5 years of aquarium experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Wide knowledge of animal tracking online systems (OERCA/ZIMS).
• knowledge of all exhibits and quarantine LSS water systems.
