Role of Assistant Manager Accounting

Responsible to secure a stable financial condition through cross checking and inspection.

Tasks of Assistant Manager Accounting

• Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
• Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Timely reporting of ICFR and other Internal Controls as required.
• Planning, Forecasting Expenses and Analyses thereof.
• Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Closing as per HQ guide on time without error.
• Liaison with Auditors, IFRS knowledge.
• Preferred with SAP knowledge.
• Develop and manage internal policies and processes according to corporate accounting standards and management condition.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5-7 Years’ experience of which 2-3 years in one of the big 4 preferred.
• Experience with Financial Reporting requirements.
