Al Futtaim Group is currently looking for an Assistant FLS Service Manager in Dubai who will be responsible to manage and execute the maintenance contracts, Casual jobs,  management (service contracts and Corrective orders), hold and enhance service standards for maintained properties and boos the efficiency of assets and their core function. This is a senior level full time role. For this role the salary ranges from 20000 AED to 40000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Assistant FLS Service Manager

  • Handle FLS maintenance portfolio of 15 million AED.
  • Increase the revenue of the FLS maintenance with 20% per annum.
  • Managing sales of FLS maintenance to ensure target achievement.
  • Assess the current conditions of FLS systems and all related essential equipment
  • Ensure that all the fire systems are healthy, and all facilities are working correctly.
  • Maintaining the efficiency and good working conditions of the facilities.
  • Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
  • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to facilities and core activities
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues from any of the premises as they arise.
  • Attending to customers and stakeholders’ complaints with regards to fire protection maintenance with a quick response time.
  • Develop staff development programs such as skills enhancement trainings and sessions.
  • Evaluate the work quality of his staff and other subordinates.
  • Coordinate with other offices and units for things that are not within the scope of the facilities service team.
  • Coordinate with the senior management on work issues.
  • Project management, supervising and coordinating contractors and service providers.
  • Liaising with tenants to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility.
  • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
  • Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and signed off.
  • Prepare pertinent records and reports for the safety service division of the institution.
  • Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems of all the buildings.
  • Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the facilities.
  • Create monitoring systems or programs in the institution to detect problems as early as possible.
  • Ensure the team is engaged and able to fully utilize the operating systems eg CAFM.

Eligibility Requirements for Assistant FLS Service Manager

  • B. Engineering degree.
  • 8-10 years proven experience in fire protection maintenance services.
  • Extensive experience in fire protection systems.

Skills Desired

  • Extensive knowledge of the fire protection AMC & Fitout  industry (10 to 15 years) and market conditions in the UAE.
  • Having worked within a fire protection maintenance with similar role.
  • Proficient in MS Office suites including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Manager.
  • Strong local authorities’ knowledge
  • Strong NFPA standards knowledge
  • Approval from local authorities (DCD, ADCD).
