Job Description

Michael Page has an opportunity for Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team of its client. The client specialises in natural resources with a unique mission consisting of maximising value for the stakeholders while minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, client has the ambition to be a leader in its sector and has a clear growth strategy. If you possess strong reporting and consolidation skills, submit your application. 

Responsibilities of Assistant Finance Manager

  • Consolidation financial statements of subsidiaries according to relevant industry standards.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across all subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary information and support.

Requirements of Assistant Finance Manager

  • Being a Qualified or partly qualified Finance professional.
  • BIG4 previous or current experience.
  • A proven experience of 3 to 6 years in consolidation and reporting; preferably within natural resources, holding, infrastructure, Oil & Gas or energy industries.

Skills & Abilities Desired

  • Strong understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 10.
  • Ability to apply international financial reporting standards to consolidate processes.
