An opportunity has arisen for Assistant Marketing Manager F&B to join the Sales & Marketing department at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The selected candidate is responsible to oversees specific F&B online marketing plans in conjunction with the assigned agencies inclusive of SEM, SEO, EDM campaigns, social media, digital campaigns with top-tier media titles and PR.
Responsibilities of Assistant F&B Marketing Manager
- This role coordinates F&B marketing and F&B PR.
- Responsible for content creation and community management of Dhow & Anchor, Bastion, Floor 24, Kitchen Connection, Fika, Cala Beach, Nuska Beach, Pool Bar, Creations Cakery, Pearl Lounge & C&I social media accounts from start to finish, with support from the shared service content manager.
- Directing the agencies for the content creation and community management of social media accounts.
- Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating PR itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with the shared service graphic designer to produce promotional and marketing materials.
- Hosting of targeted F&B media and influencers.
- Filter all F&B reviews that are received from cluster F&B marketing before they get sent to DOSM/F&B Director for final approval. Ensure they have clear deliverables that benefit the outlet and enhance the revenues/reputation and that the calibre of the influencers/media are the right fit for the outlet and the property.
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the operations team.
- Direct and organize F&B photoshoots.
- Coordinate interviews and interviews with F&B key spokespersons.
- Act as the communication nerve center for multiple projects, ensuring timely and consistent correspondence.
- Ensures all online and offline listings for all outlets are correct (facts and images).
- Coordinates with the PR agencies for the timely submission of awards and recognitions for the F&B teams.
- Coordinate and implement internal marketing touch points to ensure high visibility of the outlets to in-house guests.
Requirements of Assistant F&B Marketing Manager
The requirements of Assistant F&B Marketing Manager are as under:
- Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing / Advertising / Media or equivalent is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in other 5-start properties within the Marketing – F&B department.
Skills and Knowledge desired
- Proficient in spoken and written business English.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.
- Multilingual with proficiency in at least one additional language.
- A Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification is desirable.
- Any second language will be an advantage.
