Assistant Facility Manager DAMAC Group UAE

DAMAC Group is currently looking to hire Assistant Facility Manager in DAMAC Executive Heights, TECOM, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, PO Box 2195 Dubai, UAE. Candidate will be managing the team of House-keeping, Security and MEP engineers to maintain the clubhouse assets and daily operations. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Assistant Facility Manager

• Accountable for all preventative maintenance and scheduling to ensure the operational efficiency of the clubhouse assets.
• Ability to develop and implement tracking and record keeping documents.
• Manage existing FM team provide training where required.
• Technically sound to understand MEP requirements of a large entertainment venue.
• Technically sound to offer suggestions on industry best practices.
• Technically sound to undertake audits where needed to ensure facility is maintained correctly.
• Ability to forecast and prioritise maintenance to avoid costly emergency repairs which effect guests.
• The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, intuition and will hold themselves and their team accountable for delivery of results.
• Ability to track and monitor expenses VS Budget + report variances in monthly MIS meetings
• Proven track record of at least 5 years working in a similar FM manager / assistant role at another 5 Star facility or hotel.
• Engineering background.
• Ability to undertake regular energy audits and quantify where savings are made.
• Physical Demands: Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly stands, walks and sits. Regularly uses hands to finger, feel, or handle, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, tastes or smells.
• Environment/Noise: Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes and/or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Requirements for Role of Assistant Facility Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of  experience in management.
• High end golf resort experience is essential.
• Experience in working with large teams a requirement.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Excellent communication skills Written and Spoken English.
• Engineering background favorable.
