Responsibilities of Assistant Designer

• Creating or visualizing an idea and producing a design using computer-aided design (CAD).
• To support the design team in conceptualizing and creating visual elements, contributing to the development of creative projects, and assisting in the design process to meet artistic and client objectives.
• Well versed in latest designing software (Illustrator, Photoshop etc.).
• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.
• Planning and developing ranges.
• Working with buyers and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief.
• Liaising closely with buying and planning teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
• Understanding design from a technical perspective.
• Readiness to multitask and should have a proactive approach.

Eligibility Requirements
