Assistant Content Manager at GMG in GMG Building ,Umm Hurair Rd, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE involves leading the Content team who are responsible for managing editorial calendar; publishing and auditing site content; providing translations for onsite content and creating marketing copy as required. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-25000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Assistant Content Manager
- Content Planning & Management: Take ultimate responsibility for ensuring tasks are delivered on time.
- Take ownership of creating the editorial calendar for nike.com and apps in this region based on a globally aligned calendar, working with key brand stakeholders to achieve this.
- Content Publishing & Auditing: Take responsibility for refresh schedule and removal of older content.
- Co-ordinate team to ensure all content on web and app (including any custom HTML coding when required) is published in a timely manner.
- Raise bugs encountered with development team and support team with reaching resolutions within a reasonable timeframe.
- Reporting & Optimization: Share metric results with wider team, drawing conclusions where relevant and suggesting actions as a result.
- Make own suggestions and review team’s input.
- Copywriting & Translations:Provide marketing copy when required.
- Manage translation team and take accountability for timely delivery of accurate product translations to ensure go-live as per agreed launch dates.
Requirements for Role of Assistant Content Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content creation, editing, and management.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Support and coach all team members, identifying potential and areas of opportunity.
- Take responsibility for all HR-related team needs (leave, recruitment etc.)
- Identify training needs required for team to deliver their responsibilities (Google Analytics, HTML, Excel etc.) and highlight to manager.
