University of Sharjah is presently hiring suitably qualified & experienced candidate for the role of Assistant/Associate Professor chemical and water desalination engineering. The selected candidate will be responsible for Process Control of chemical and water desalination engineering processes, Process Modeling and Simulation of chemical and water desalination engineering processes ,Membrane Fabrications and synthesis and Membrane Applications. Candidates should have a strong record of accomplishment in research; publications in top field journals of Chemical Engineering and Water Desalination and demonstrated abilities to secure competitive funding. Applications will be reviewed as they are received until the position is filled.

Responsibilities of Assistant/Associate Professor

• Teach a range of core and elective courses in Chemical and Water Desalination Engineering at any level; as well as supervision of senior design projects in chemical and water desalination engineering.
• Develop curricula and laboratories and should plan to establish externally funded research programs and publish peer reviewed papers.
• Serve on committees at the program, department and university level.

Job Requirements

The requirements of Assistant/Associate Professor in chemical and water desalination engineering in University of Sharjah are as under:

• BSc in Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field in the area of Membrane fabrications and Applications Process Control and Modeling, Process Design, analysis and Integration.
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
