Duties of Assistant/Associate Professor Supply Chain Management

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and related disciplines.
• Design course materials, learning activities, and assessments aligned with UOWD’s academic standards and industry best practices.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate theses and research projects within the field of SCM.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career development in SCM.
• Conduct high quality research in your area of expertise within SCM, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field.
• Publish research findings in leading academic journals and conferences.
• Secure external research funding grants.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers on interdisciplinary projects related to SCM.
• Contribute to the department’s administrative tasks and committees.
• Participate in departmental and university initiatives related to curriculum development, faculty development, and student support.
• Serve as a reviewer for academic journals and conferences.
• Engage with the wider community through outreach activities and public lectures on SCM topics.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Assistant/Associate Professor Supply Chain Management are as under:

• PhD in a relevant discipline from an AACSB accredited international academic institution.
• Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
• Teaching and learning experience at an AACSB accredited institution.
• Experience in supervising Masters Research/Doctoral candidates.
• Fluency in the English language (both spoken and written).
