Job Description

The Department of Family and Community Medicine and Behavioral Sciences, College of Medicine in University of Sharjah is actively hiring for the job role of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Medical Education. The selected candidate is responsible to participate in the teaching, curriculum management and educational innovation in the college.

Ad

Duties of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Medical Education

  • Participate in the work of the Medical Education Center to support and foster innovation in the curricula at the College of Medicine.
  • Participate in teaching and student’s supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate Health Profession Education courses and programs.
  • Achieving excellence in research through publishing in high impact, peer reviewed publications in health profession education.
  • Development and implement Faculty Development Programs.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Medical Department in department of Family and Community Medicine and Behavioral Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Sharjah are as under:

  1. PhD in Medical or Health Profession Education
  2. Bachelor in Medicine will be an added value.
  3. Minimum 5 year experience in similar role.
  4. Experience in Technology Enhanced learning and assessment.
  5. Experience in management of medical curriculum.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  1. Leadership in teaching, assessment and learning innovation.
  2. Substantial track record of research in Medical/Health Profession Education.
