Automobile sector in Dubai is actively hiring for the job role of Assistant Accountant. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting their finance department in various accounting tasks. You will assist with financial record keeping, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities of Assistant Accountant
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and process invoices and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledger.
- Assist with month end and year end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records.
- Assist with audits and other compliance activities.
Requirements of Assistant Accountant
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
