The automobile industry is looking for an Assistant Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support their financial team. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into their internal databases and reconciling invoices.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Accountant

Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
Create and update expense reports.
Process reimbursement forms.
Prepare bank deposits.
Enter financial transactions into internal databases.

Requirements of an Assistant Accountant

Diploma or degree in accounting.
Work experience of 1-2 years as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
Familiarity with finance regulations.
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
Hands on experience with MS Excel and accounting software.
