Art and Design Teacher – GEMS Education, Dubai

GEMS Education is seeking a creative Art and Design Teacher to deliver art education across secondary year groups. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their artistic skills, creativity and critical appreciation of art and design.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Art and Design across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level Art examinations
• Develop students’ skills in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital art
• Curate student exhibitions and contribute to school displays
• Manage the art department budget and resources

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Art and Design or a related field
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of art teaching experience at secondary level
• A strong portfolio of personal art practice
• Experience with UK art examination syllabi
