Job Description

Jumbo Group presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Area Manager in Retail Operations at Dubai Central Service Centre – Jebel Ali Jebel Ali Industrial Area No.2, P O Box 3426, Dubai, AE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Area Manager

  • Setting up and managing retail business operations with a view to achieve business objectives and ensure top line and bottom-line profitability within the given cluster.
  • Managing the visual merchandising and overall presentation look and feel for all stores.
  • Designing & implementing sales plans and new store concepts to generate increased sales for achievement of revenue targets.
  • To increase business by doing various analysis at stock level & category level to figure out the ways to minimize the inventory investment and maximize stock turns.
  • Ensuring the processes are followed in the stores as per SOP’s.
  • Managing sales operations; implementing sales promotional activities as a part of product launch, brand building and market development effort.
  • Analyzing latest marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning sales & marketing strategies.
  • Leading, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in sales operations and meeting of individual & group targets.
  • Tracking brand for better understanding of the trends, market performance and competitive moves and recommending the way forward for the brand.
  • Maintaining the reports of sales, stock and orders and other inventory requirements.
  • Providing backend support and forwarding customer pending issue for follow-ups.
  • Liaising with Mall Management as and when required.

Requirements for Role of Area Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Retail, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in management roles, preferably in retail, sales, or operations.
  • Valid driver’s license
