Job Description

Apparel Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is hiring an Architect. This full-time job, based in Dubai, pays AED 20,000 to 30,000 a month, depending on experience. The architect will design new retail stores, fix up old ones, and plan extensions, making sure spaces look good and follow rules. Responsibilities

  • Make design plans for new retail stores.
  • Team up with brand folks to create useful spaces.
  • Draw 2D and 3D plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Work with MEP and structural teams to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare papers for planning and building approvals.
  • Keep designs within budget and on time.
  • Follow UAE building and safety rules.
  • Find and fix design problems early.
  • Visit sites to ensure building matches plans.
  • Help builders understand design drawings.
  • Check contractor materials to match designs.
  • Show designs to bosses for okay.
  • Talk about ways to improve designs and save money.
  • Track design specs and materials.
  • Help review finished projects for lessons.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a known school; professional license is a plus.

Experience

 5+ years designing, especially for retail or commercial spaces.

Skills

  • Use AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite well.
  • Talk clearly with teams and clients.
  • Notice small details in plans and papers.
  • Manage time to hit project deadlines.
  • Solve problems on designs or sites.

Knowledge

  • Know UAE building and safety codes.
  • Understand retail store layout and building methods.
  • Be aware of green and accessibility rules.
  • Get how to work with MEP and structural teams.
  • Know teamwork in retail design.
