Etisalat is currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the position of Application And Cloud Administrator in Sharjah.

Job Duties of Application And Cloud Administrator

• Create CI / CD pipelines for application infrastructure needs to ensure deployments are fully automated.
• Implement HA, DR, Backup, and retention policies on Azure platforms using native options and third-party tools like Rubric.
• Understand and support DNS services which are cloud native and third-party tools like Infoblox to integrate with Azure.
• Manage cloud networking and security (Firewalls, NSG’s, ASG’s, WAF’s) and monitor the logging of systems.
• Automate all deployable tasks from beginning to end to reduce manually intervention using devops tools.
• Closely work with AD team to create necessary app registrations, service principles that are required for azure services to authenticate and authorize.
• Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.
• Manage cloud infrastructure from the Azure portal, PowerShell, or using the CLI.
• Build scalable and reusable scripts to deploy infrastructure for applications according to approved architecture and Lazard standards.
• Monitor, manage and maintain day to day activities of Azure environments, respond and address system alerts, notifications.
• Assist with resource provisioning, migration, configurations in Azure.
• Coordinate with networking, firewall, security, applications teams while implementing cloud solutions.
• Monitor site stability, deployments, performance via event logging and metrics (experience with monitoring services like Azure Log Analytics, azure monitor,prometheis, ).
• Develop infrastructure as code (Terraform preferable) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments.
• Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
• Help in reducing operational incidents through standardization and process improvements.
• Create technical documents, diagrams, how-to guides, and other deliverables.

• Bachelors degree in the related field.

Experience

• Experience in Azure Tenant management.
• Experience with implementing, managing, operating applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment.
