Anesthesia Technician Mediclinic Welcare Hospital

Mediclinic Welcare Hospital is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This is a recently opened position at the hospital with the reference number 46537. The role holder will work as part of the theatre team in providing quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and to provide, skilled clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist.

Responsibilities of Anesthesia Technician

• To provide a high standard of care pre-, during and post-anaesthesia for patients following Hospital guidelines and Operation Theatre standards.
• To ensure preparation of operation theatre and supplies and cleaning, sterilization and disinfection of anaesthetic equipment pre-operative and post-operative.
• To control anaesthetic stock, medication and equipment.
• To ensure that patient records and documentation are maintained.
• To actively promote patient satisfaction.

Role Requirements

Following are the requirements for the role of Anesthesia Technician at Mediclinic:

• Diploma in Anaesthetic Technology from an accredited institution, college, or university.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as Anaesthesia Technician according to the UAE requirements.
• Licensed in Country of origin.
• Current and valid ACLS certification.
• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a similar role in a hospital environment.

Job Skills

• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Stock control principles and management.
