Job Description

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is seeking a Logistics Analyst (Fleet Operations) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. ADNOC is a state owned oil and gas company that was founded in 1971. It is responsible for the exploration, production, refining and distribution of oil and gas resources in the UAE. It is one of the largest oil companies in the world and its operations include upstream exploration and production, downstream refining and petrochemicals and marketing and distribution. Additionally, ADNOC has a presence in Dubai through its subsidiary, ADNOC Distribution, which operates gas stations and convenience stores throughout the UAE.

Job Overview of Logistics Analyst

Assist in the Collection, Review and Analysis of the various ongoing company Logistics Services to identify opportunities for company’s growth. Support the division in the preparation of Statistical reports, Annual activity report and Budgets in coordination with Department Managers. Prepare Division’s Strategic business plan, KPI Quarterly Performance Management reports and Maintain all related records.

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Identify and find ways to improve further and develop the services. Ensure the Operational effectiveness and Excellence of the business unit.
  • Perform Division’s Financial statement analysis. Contribute in division’s internal Audit, Quality Audit both internal and external towards Division’s Strategic Business Objectives timely.
  • Design and Document workflow and make Appropriate Recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.
  • Gather and organize information on problem or procedures. Track and analyse business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the unit.
  • Solve problems in a way that brings the most benefit to the business.
  • Initiate the policy of Continuous enhancement, which requires consistent and focused change management across the business.

Your Duties as Logistics Analyst

  • Identify need for additional resources within the business at the same time maintaining robust, operational and usual business support to members.
  • Analyse data gathered, develop information and consider available solutions or alternate methods of processing.
  • Organize and document findings of studies and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes.
  • Communicate with staff concerned to assure smooth functioning of newly implemented systems or procedure.
  • Conduct effectiveness reviews of fleet operations to ensure functional or project systems are applied and functioning as designed.
  • Design and carry out customer satisfaction survey on periodic basis. Analyze the outcome and give suggestions.
  • Prepare anticipated operating cost and expenditure for 5 years. List out the Resources such as Manpower, Equipment and Capital Investment for 5 years in coordination with department/division managers.
  • List out the risks and solutions during the 5 years and conclude with success factors of the business plan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 years of Experience.
