Job Description

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Analyst Account and Wealth Services. The job holder is responsible to manage and supervise day-to-day unit functions, ensuring the meeting of SLA and data quality requirements. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling risk and fraud within the unit, as well as representing AWS in new business initiatives. Additionally, you will be tasked with providing Management Information (MI)/Management Information System (MIS) unit reports.

Responsibilities of Analyst Account and Wealth Services

SLA:

  • Ensure all transactions/queries are processed within the agreed SLA/TAT.
  • Manage a satisfactory relationship with unit internal customers.

Processing Quality:

  • Maintain the agreed processing error rate.
  • Regularly report and analyze errors and rework.
  • Identify training needs.

Productivity Management:

  • Identify staff training needs and develop internal training.
  • Provide weekly/monthly/yearly MIS & KPI reporting.
  • Monitor and report on risk within the unit.
  • Maintain accurate productivity MIS using available systems/tools.
  • Develop regular productivity reports with analytics for current and future resource planning.
  • Devise resource plans on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
  • Monitor unit productivity daily and take corrective actions.
  • Foster a multitask environment within the unit.
  • Conduct weekly productivity meetings with the team.
  • Ensure daily monitoring of TAT reports for remedy raised through AWS Remedy.

Management of Analyst Account and Wealth Services:

  • Attend regular performance reviews (monthly, quarterly, midyear appraisal & yearly appraisal).
  • Maintain accurate and complete individual performance tracking history.
  • Maintain accurate performance actions history.
  • Produce analytic performance reports at both individual and unit levels.
  • Propose performance corrective plans.
  • Organize regular performance recognition ceremonies.
  • Appoint potential future department assistant team leaders/team leaders and produce development plans.
  • Provide coaching on career & performance management.

Team Management:

  • Ensure monitoring of team attendance.
  • Implement accurate and advanced annual leave planning/day off.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policy, behavior competencies, and framework.
  • Foster a multitask environment within the unit.
  • Coordinate with other team leaders on day-to-day resource planning and staff allocation.
  • Manage the unit recruitment process.

Risk Control:

  • Attend to regular audit reports and address any observations.
  • Maintain zero open audit observations by the deadline.
  • Identify potential risks/fraud and take precautionary action.
  • Ensure monitoring of unit activity against AML policy and fraud-free practices.

Processes & Procedures of Analyst Account and Wealth Services:

  • Identify any weaknesses/possible improvements in existing processes and initiate necessary changes.
  • Identify improvements to the systems in use and initiate necessary enhancements.

MIS and Reporting:

  • Provide analytic MIS, KRI, and KPI.
  • Provide analytic weekly error reports with historical data/MIS and develop corrective action plans.
  • Provide analytic process risk assessment, system risk assessment, and initiate enhancement requirements.

Requirements of Analyst Account and Wealth Services

  • University degree preferably in Banking/Commerce (MBA would be an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years in Operations function with 2 years of Supervisory experience.
