Dubai Air Navigation Services (dans) is actively recruiting skilled & experienced candidate for the job role of Airspace Support Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible to monitor and coordinate airspace activities to optimize traffic flow and safety within dans AOR. Job Purpose of An Airspace Support Officer
Assist in the coordination and management of airspace activities ensuring smooth traffic flow and efficieny of airspace systems.
Duties of An Airspace Support Officer
- Assist and support Senior Specialist in organization and coordination of day to day airspace harmonization & management activity.
- Responsible for day to day application of FUA concept within dans AOR in support of ASM level 2 pre tactical management.
- Act as AMC Support Officer for both Civil Military stakeholders during coordination, negotiation & air space allocation activities.
- Support Airspace Management Department in the UAE air space harmonization process at National level.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years in ATS or relevant aviation field.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge on ATS, airspace structure and ATM applications in electronic operating environments.
- Knowledge of ATC working practices.
- Fluent in spoken & written English & Arabic.
- Computer literate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD.
