Airside Agent DWC Dnata Airline Dubai

Airside Agent at Dnata Airline in Emirates Group Headquarters, Al Garhoud, Dubai, UAE will be responsible in carrying out activities related to the assigned airside areas on shift, ensuring safe on time quality service delivery to customer airlines, in line with dnata’s standards & procedures. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-8000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Airside Agent

• Applies departmental policies, processes, procedures in day-to-day operations adapting to any changes in the established standards and procedures.
• Implements day-to-day operations assigned and ensures compliance with the established standards and procedures
• Ensures that all equipment and devices are use and care for appropriately and escalate/forward for maintenance/repair.
• Escalates issues to the Supervisor to ensure that the proper corrective measures are followed up on.
• Assists in manual handling activities when required.
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Ensures that safety briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is risk exposure, role model safe behaviors and follows up on corrective actions.
• Maintains appropriate records and documentation for the shift in the assigned area.
• Receives cargo from the Emirates Sky Central Terminal warehouse locations and inbound flights (e.g. Ramp Transfer Cargo) at the sorting/staging area and ensure to validate/scan cargo via PDA at the time of drop off. Line up/stage the units in trains (if multiple units) based on flight numbers & STD.
• Prioritizes the dispatches of cargo/mail units based on the departure time to Aircraft Bay aligned to OAL SLA. Ensures to validate/scan cargo via PDA at each pick up & drop off points.

Requirements for Role of Airside Agent

• Minimum 12 years of schooling.
• 2-4 years of experience in ground handling/Airport environment.
• UAE Driving License in order to gain ADP to operate equipment.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proficient knowledge in systems DACS+ , CAMSYS.
• Proficient Communication Skills.
• Proficient understanding of Customer SLA.
• Proficient understanding of dnata’s airport operations KPIs.
• Proficient Writing Skills.
