Air & Ocean Product Manager Abu Dhabi Ports

The Air and Ocean Product Senior Manager  at Abu Dhabi Ports will be responsible to identify and develop potential, sustainable customer relationships and engage with them (in collaboration with Sales and Account management team) in developing solutions for them across air and ocean. Provide leadership in the areas of product and business development, resource utilization. This is a senior level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 16000 AED to 32000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Air and Ocean Product Manager

• Drive collaboration across the Commercial team for pricing of Ocean and Air Freight products, and engage with the Tender management team to develop long term pricing strategies for Air and Ocean freight tenders.
• Define, implement, monitor, and enforce service and quality standards, in cooperation with product management (in Regional Office).
• Establish pricing strategies to improve EBIT results for Ocean and Air Freight at a country and region level.
• Develop volume targets in line with the Global targets and the market context and develop product and pricing strategy for achievement of the volumes.
• Ensure product compliance with industry and internal policies and standards.
• Ensure continuous improvement by implementing First Choice, Station Improvements, and adherence to quality policies.
• Grow the air and ocean forwarding revenue and market share in collaboration with other stakeholders both in the region and corporate office.
• Publish weekly, and monthly reports and other ad-hoc reports as may be required by management.
• Facilitate and support efforts in maintaining healthy relationships with trade bodies and government agencies & and authorities, including being an active subscriber or participant of global research agencies.
• Guide and Support implementation of programs such as security regulation to meet country-mandated regulatory requirements.
• Lead Noatum ME in carrier contact or negotiation (for Air and Ocean Freight) according to corporate policy and regional requirements.
• Evaluate the performance of Ocean and Air carriers and engage with them on rates, performance and solutions design.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Air and Ocean Product Senior Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Finance, Accounting or Management.
• MBA highly preferred.
• 5-6 years of experience in similar role.
