Job Purpose of An Admission Coordinator At Ajman University

  • Serves as primary point of contact for admissions section and activities at Ajman University.
  • Handles the day to day operations of the Office of Strategic Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment.
  • Develops, recommends & plans admission policy and procedures.
  • Responsible to recruite high caliber students from all over the world.

Your Job Duties As An Admission Coordinator At Ajman University

  • Check application forms, see completion of data and follow up with candidates on any incomplete applications.
  • Assess candidates academic qualifications and verify their enrolment eligibility.
  • Making decisions on candidates suitability for their chosen program in line with AU Admission criteria.
  • Upholding AU’s admissions policy consistently and fairly across all applications.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from applicants, by email, telephone and in person.
  • Enhancing the visibility and positioning of the University by developing efficient and customer focused admissions procedures.
  • Organizes, manages and inputs information into data bases.
  • Advising applicants on all aspects of the admissions process, the suitability of their qualifications and program details.
  • Participates in the re enrollment process of current students, tracks progress, deal with questions and helps to complete students files.
  • Responsible to issue students ID card.
  • Performs other job duties as asked.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • A minimum of bachelor degree in Business.
  • Master’s degree.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the same field.
  • Cross culture know how .

License

  • Valid UAE driving license.

Nationality

  • UAE National.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Records keeping skills.
  • Very good skills in Microsoft package.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in Banner Student Information System.
  • Database management skills.
