Purpose of An Admin Officer
Provide high level administrative support to the Airworthiness Management Office (AMO) by performing organizational functions such as preparing correspondence, technical writing, managing and marking documentation. Support the Airworthiness Manager and the Engineering team with administrative duties.
Job Duties of An Admin Officer
- Provide support in administrative, office management and employee logistics activities.
- Prepares correspondence, agendas, materials and reports for reproduction and distribution.
- Maintain records of documents and electronic files and retrieve data.
- Schedules and plans all events and meetings for Engineering and Airworthiness Office.
- Prepare business agendas and arrange team meetings and assist in documenting meeting minutes upon request.
- Responds to queries from all Group’s Maintenance Battalions.
- Coordinates and schedules conference calls and meetings.
- Analyzes new or special administrative work requests to determine the most efficient method of completion.
- Research and create information through a variety of delivery mediums (electronic, printed, audio-visual). Example types of information include manuals, white papers, design specifications, project plans and software test plans etc.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and designs with tight deadlines, using excellent organizational skills and being able to prioritize, either under the guidance and instruction of team lead members or independently where required.
- Manages backup and restore operations of department designs and projects data and administers archiving operations of classified data.
- Edit, standardize or make changes to material prepared by other writers or department personnel.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering, business administration or equivalent.
- Computer Literacy i.e. ICDL or equivalent.
- Proficiency in excel and powerpoint is desired.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in similar administrative position.
- Experience in schedule management for Senior Management positions.
- Exposure to aviation maintenance.
