Admin Assistant Amana Healthcare Abu Dhabi

This position of Admin Assistant at Amana Healthcare (Mubadala Health) is responsible for providing administrative and support duties to the Administration Team Lead and the Administration department. The role holder may function as a liaison between departments and others external to MH.

Responsibilities of Admin Assistant

  • Act as an advocate for the vulnerable, challenging poor practice and discriminatory attitudes and behaviour relating to their care.
  • Takes responsibility to ensure complaints, concerns, and recommendations are escalated appropriately and documented.
  • Assist in all aspects of general office coordination.
  • Communicate problems to the Multidisciplinary Team, as required.
  • Assist in the coordination with the Receptionists and Social Worker in regards to family’s request for medical reports.
  • Assist with newly admitted patients / residents, input patient data, create patient identifications, file paperwork and handle non-medical queries from family members.
  • Maintain proficiency as needed and approved; by attending training, reading job-related materials, and meeting with others in the same area of responsibility.
  • Maintain office calendar and organize daily operations workflow and facility meetings.
  • Assist in recording and distribution of meeting minutes and agenda of all meetings chaired by the Administration Team Lead and other Committee Chairman.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of all documents at all times.
  • Assist in providing full admin support to the team and department.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining useful databases for residents or patients’ files.
  • Maintain a proper and user-friendly filling and document control system for recording and tracking of all admin documents.
  • Perform some research duties as and when required by the team.
  • Assist the Administration Team Lead on any ad-hoc tasks as required by the dept.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Admin Assistant at Amana Healthcare:

  • Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in healthcare facility.

Job Skills

  • Proficient in preparing and reviewing complex documents, contracts and presentations.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Fluent in written and spoken Arabic.
