Higher Colleges of Technology is looking to hire suitably qualified candidate to join their Adjunct Faculty of Engineering. The Faculty is responsible to provide effective instruction in specific courses in assigned Enginering subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to second language learners within a student centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture and their traditions. Faculty will also actively participate in academic and extra curricular events at the College and within the community.
Responsibilities of Adjunct Faculty Engineering
- Reporting to the Program Coordinator of a Division, Adjunct Faculty provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in respective discipline, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses.
- Involvement in applied research and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community and outreach activities are welcomed.
Job Requirements
The requirements for the job role of Adjunct Faculty Engineering are as under:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant industry /teaching experience.
- Experience in developing course curriculum as per accreditation and international standards.
Workload
- Adjunct Faculty teaching load are as per need basis and may not exceed 6 credits per semester.
- The workdays in a week are normally Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- The hours of work for academic employees are based on the teaching schedule
