Adjunct Faculty Education Higher Colleges of Technology UAE

Adjunct Faculty Education at Higher Colleges of Technology is responsible to provide effective instruction in specific course(s) in the assigned Education subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to the second language learners within a student centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture, and their traditions.

Responsibilities of Adjunct Faculty Education

• Supporting the mission, goals, policies, and activities of the institution.
• Teaching and training of students and interns within the practical sessions (Clinics and labs) at the institution and in its affiliated hospitals and health facilities.
• Consulting or engaging in academic activities that enhance scholarship and professionalism within the institution.
• Adjunct clinical lecturers are expected to help in demonstrations and to provide the course instructor with support in their clinical training and academic activities.
• Organize and manage instructional resources, course outline, and community networks.
• Ensure a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment in all college focused activities.
• Motivate and inspire confidence in others (students and colleagues) to overcome limitations to personal growth and success.
• Actively seek out methods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course and lesson objectives in the practical part of the courses.
• Maintain relationships with students that are conducive to learning.
• Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Adjunct Faculty Education are as under:

• Appropriate academic professional qualifications as required.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant industry/teaching experience.
• Experience in developing course curriculum as per accreditation and international standards.
