Banking industry is seeking a detail oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join their team to play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting department in various tasks. Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payments.
  • Perform data entry and maintain financial records in the accounting system.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and documents.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with auditing and compliance activities as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, such as filing, scanning, and copying documents.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements for Accounting Clerk

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of 1 – 2 Years in accounting or a related field is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
