Accountant Treasury, Transguard Group UAE

Job Purpose of An Accountant Treasury

Ensure that treasury transactions are recorded on an appropriate and timely manner and stated accurately on systems.

Job Duties As An Accountant Treasury At Transguard Group Dubai, UAE

Expenses

• Recording of petty cash expenses including employee reimbursements.
• Review and booking of petty cash expenses including employee expense claim reimbursements.
• Submission of monthly report to Payroll for the employee reimbursements.

Reconciliations

• Daily reconciliation of petty cash. 
• Reconciliation of payroll journals.
• Bank reconciliations including timely identification and clearance of all reconciling items.

Imprest Cash Management

• Responsible to maintain accounting records of Imprest Cash and follow up for the collection of due and overdue invoices.

Business Partnering & Query Resolution

• Regular partnering with different stake holders across the organization including GPRA, FP&A and other business units.

Image Cheque Clearing System

• Cheque scanning through ICCS done before cut-off on a daily basis.
• Send notification to credit control and receivable team for the bounce cheque.
• Bounce cheque needs to hand over to Credit Control Team.

Daily Currency

• Currencies need to be updated on daily basis in Oracle from Central Bank web site.

Bank Correspondence

• Follow up of bank guaranties, letter of credit and receivables financing with banks.
• Continuous engagement with the bank’s relationship managers to ensure timely resolution of queries and issues to ensure smooth treasury operations .

Eligibility Criteria?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
