Textiles industry is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Accountant to join their finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities of Accountant
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts regularly.
- Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision making.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements of Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as an Accountant, preferably in a corporate setting.
- CPA certification is a plus.
