Real Estate industry is presently seeking a detail oriented and experienced candidate for the job role of Accountant to join their team in Dubai. As a key member of their finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate accounting for their real estate operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to financial accuracy.
Responsibilities of Accountant
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for real estate transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow for real estate projects.
- Coordinate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Track and reconcile property expenses, including utilities, taxes, and maintenance costs.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for real estate portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making for real estate investments.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in real estate accounting regulations.
Requirements of Accountant
The requirements for the said job are as following.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Real Estate Accountants or in relevant field.
Skills and Knowledge desired
- Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
