Responsibilities of Accountant
- Managing all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
- Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance with budgetary requirements.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Stay updated with local financial regulations.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Computing taxes.
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Requirements of Accountant
The requirements for job role of Accountant are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as an accountants.
