Candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities of Accountant Finance
- Investment Accounting Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of investment data in accounting records and financial statements.
- Support in the day-to-day operations of investment accounting activities, including the recording, reconciliation and reporting of investment transactions.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in preparing investment-related financial reports, including portfolio valuations, income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial disclosures related to investments for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with investment managers, financial analysts and other internal stakeholders to support investment accounting processes.
Requirements for Role of Accountant Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CA) is a plus.
- 5+ years experience in investment accounting, preferably in a financial services or investment management environment.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Proficiency in investment accounting software and financial systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and perform in-depth analysis.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements relevant to investments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
