Academic Accreditation Coordinator at Al Qasimia University is responsible to contribute to the management of matters related to national and international accreditation of academic programs, including preparing and reviewing documents for submitting accreditation applications, as well as writing and editing drafts of application documents and key supporting evidence to ensure that all academic programs comply with academic accreditation standards.

Duties of Academic Accreditation Coordinator

  • Contributing to the preparation of national and international accreditation documents, including preparing and reviewing documents for submitting accreditation applications, as well as writing and editing drafts of application documents and other key supporting evidence.
  • Ensure that university programs are regularly evaluated and improved in accordance with the requirements of the standards of the Commission for Academic Accreditation and the Ministry of Education.
  • Support academic programs in all required daily activities, including preparing for accreditation, licensing, membership, or external assessor visits.
  • Updating the accreditation documents and activities practiced by the university in accordance with local and international accreditation requirements, whether from information provided by accreditation bodies and other sources obtained by the university.
  • Confirm and follow up on the timeline for each accreditation renewal process.
  • Ensure that complete documents are submitted to the Accreditation Commission in a timely manner.
  • Providing draft documents, key supporting reports and self studies for submission during accreditation visits.
  • Coordinating institutional effectiveness activities and ensuring that all academic and administrative units achieve their desired results.
  • Participate in organizing and implementing workshops and coordinating with colleges and supporting them in developing quality assurance policies and procedures, including the preparation of academic program mission statements, objectives, outcomes, alignment with the National
  • Qualifications Framework (UAE QFE), assessment methods, analysis methods, and completion of assessment reports. their annual.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Academic Accreditation Coordinator are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Management Information Systems/Business Administration/Economics/Quality).
  • 3 years work experience in the same field Knowledge of quality assurance and accreditation in higher education.
