Job Description

The Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai recruits an AC technician full time to join its technical department. This role on site forces preventive and corrective maintenance of air conditioning and cooling systems in guest rooms, public sectors and hotel facilities. The candidates must be technically capable of installations, maintenance tasks, inspections and troubleshooting ability in accordance with brand requirements. The function includes the responsibility for supporting equipment, spare parts management and environmental programs. Applicants shall be active, humble, expanded and able to operate under safety rules. A technical diploma or comparable authentication is required. Pre -Expertise is wanted with a hotel or commercial HVAC system.

Job Title

AC Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate preventive and corrective maintenance of AC and cooling goals.
  • Inspection, clean and replace air filters and system components.
  • Install new HVAC equipment if necessary or beware of contractors.
  • Maintain organized workshop and store all the equipment and spare parts in good order.
  • Provide timely maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Participate in energy -saving schemes and record cold temperature logs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to meet security and maintenance goals.
  • Support training programs and participate in assigned technical workshops.
  • Follow fire prevention, health and withdrawal procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Technical degree in HVAC, AC systems, refrigeration, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar AC Technician role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Skills

  • Good command of HVAC installation and repair procedures.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and control measures.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational abilities.

Knowledge

  • HVAC preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Use of power tools, meters, and HVAC equipment.
