The candidate likely involves maritime duties such as maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the vessel, assisting in navigation and operations, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests on any water-based activities or transportation provided by the resort.

Responsibilities of AB Seaman

• Responsible to include executing deck operations, ensuring vessel cleanliness, and collaborating with the Boat Skipper to create exceptional guest experiences.
• Assist in the safe navigation and operation of marine vessels under the guidance of the Boat Skipper.
• Execute deck duties, including mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling, in adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to perform routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the vessels are in optimal condition.
• Report any issues or required repairs promptly to the designated personnel.
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures, protocols, and guidelines to ensure a secure maritime environment.
• Participate in regular safety drills and be prepared to respond to emergencies.
• Assist guests during embarkation and disembarkation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Provide support for water sports activities, ensuring the safe use of equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vessels, including the deck, cabins, and public areas.
• Implement sanitation practices to uphold high hygiene standards.
• Handle and maintain deck equipment, storing it appropriately and in good working order.
• Assist in the proper stowage of safety equipment and gear.

Requirements of AB Seaman

Requirements of AB Seaman are as under:

• Valid AB Seaman Certification.
• 2 year of proven experience as an AB Seaman, preferably in a hospitality or marine tourism setting.
