A-Level Maths Teacher – GEMS Education, Dubai

GEMS Education, the world’s largest private education provider, is seeking an experienced A-Level Maths Teacher to join one of its premium schools in Dubai, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified mathematics educator to deliver the British curriculum at the senior secondary level within a globally recognised school network.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging A-Level and AS-Level Mathematics lessons in accordance with the British curriculum framework
• Prepare students for IGCSE, AS and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including gifted and talented students
• Use data-driven assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform teaching practice
• Contribute to the mathematics department’s co-curricular programme, including maths competitions and revision clinics
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching A-Level Mathematics in a British curriculum school
• Strong knowledge of Edexcel, Cambridge or AQA A-Level syllabi
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Familiarity with KHDA standards and UAE education expectations is an advantage
