A-Level Chemistry Teacher – Sunmarke School, Dubai

Sunmarke School, part of the Fortes Education group in Dubai, is seeking an experienced A-Level Chemistry Teacher to join its Science department. The school follows the British curriculum and the IB Diploma Programme, and is rated ‘Outstanding’ by KHDA.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry at IGCSE and A-Level within the British curriculum
• Prepare students for external chemistry examinations with excellent results
• Plan and deliver practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively
• Use data to track student progress and implement intervention strategies
• Contribute to STEM initiatives and science enrichment activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of A-Level Chemistry teaching experience
• Experience with Edexcel, Cambridge or AQA syllabi
• Strong practical laboratory skills
