Job Description

Rotana Resort and SPA are looking for a dedicated & experienced A C Technician which is included in the Fujairah maintenance team, United Arab Emirates. It is a full -time role on the site of individuals who have a strong background in air conditioning and cooling systems. The condition includes preventive maintenance, technical troubleshooting and resorting to secure a guest connection by maintaining cooling systems. Candidates must have diplomas in cooling or building services, basic English communication skills and ability to identify and fix errors. Compensation compensation is presented based on experience. A C Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration systems including freezers, fridges, ice machines, chillers, and fan coil units.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems.
  • Inspect and service air conditioning and chill water systems.
  • Troubleshoot system failures and perform technical repairs as needed.
  • Overhaul refrigeration equipment following technical safety standards.
  • Check defrosting systems and ensure correct operation of automation and controls.
  • Maintain door gaskets and latching systems on walk-in coolers and freezers.
  • Handle maintenance requests from hotel departments promptly.
  • Ensure safe handling and limited release of refrigerants such as CFCs.
  • Communicate with engineering and storekeeping teams for spare parts and upgrades.

Requirements

Qualifications

Diploma in refrigeration maintenance or building services engineering.

Experience

2 to 4 years of experience in HVAC maintenance in hospitality or similar settings.

Skills

  • Technical troubleshooting.
  • Preventive maintenance practices.
  • Time management.
  • Team coordination.
  • Basic English communication.

Knowledge

  • HVAC system components and operations.
