Inventory Controller At Mubadala Health UAE

Mubadala Health is presently searching for dedicated candidates for the job position of an Inventory Controller. The successful aspirant will work at National Reference Laboratory (subsidiary of Mubadala Health) located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Purpose of An Inventory Controller

Responsible for the monitoring, reviewing inventory, placing orders, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and transfer of materials and supplies for hospital departments.

Duties of An Inventory Controller

• Support the ordering and receipt of material, equipment, stock, and supplies for the hospital, uses the ERP system and barcoding solution to maintain and verify all transactions.
• Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
• Inspect items received for accurate weight, count and condition; verifies that stock meets specifications and that orders are complete and resolve order problems with vendors and departments.
• Support in forecasting supply and demand in accordance with the min max policy; taking into consideration all possible variables.
• Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out of stock situations.
• Deliver goods to appropriate departments or areas on a routine or immediate basis; oversees the delivery or distribution of goods by filling requisitions and comparing nomenclature, stock numbers, etc. maintains a record of stock received and issued to departments.
• Perform inventory of stock room supplies as directed; Supervise inventory maintenance and determine redistribution actions for stored goods when necessary.
• Support deliveries by loading, packing, deboxing, order selecting, and receiving.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of both stock items and transactions, noting down dates of purchase and receipt, item count and details, issues encountered, and more. This must be consolidate this into regular reports presented to other department units such as finance and sales.
• Maintain a safe working environment through compliance of safety programs.
• Supervise minor maintenance and sanitation of the warehouse as needed.
  Maintain computer hardware and software in a manner that ensures proper and accurate operation.
• Review all backorders and expedites.
• Review all month-end data to ensure accuracy and report as necessary to management and central team.
• Maintain as accurate filing system for purchase orders and requisitions.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma.
• Experience: 3 years of shipping and receiving/stockroom experience or equivalency.
• Licensing: Valid UAE driver’s license with proof of insurability.

Skills Desired

• Ability to move heavy objects.
• Possess a knowledge of standard warehousing.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Mathematical skills.
