The Events Manager at Seddiqi Holding in Umm Al Sheif, Dubai, United Arab Emirates will be responsible to develop and manage event and activations, ensuring that all events are executed per Seddiqi Holding and Brand Principal standards, while maintaining budget and costs to ensure positive return on investment and brand engagement. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Events Manager

  • Strategic: Defines the overall strategy for branding and in-store activations and events for the Group, in coordination with the Head of Corporate Marketing, business units and the Brand Marketing team, in line with the company vision, mission and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure that the strategy is translated into annual events calendars and plans and that performance is monitored and reported so that necessary actions are taken in a timely manner.
  • Provides event planning oversight and project management by taking a collaborative role in the planning and execution of events, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensures brand image is kept at high standards at all times.
  • Ensures full integration across all areas to maximize investments.
  • Build strong partnerships and collaborative relationships with vendors and external partners (media vendors, influencers, editors).
  • Develops and manages events budgets and resources, in line with the budgets allocated by the Brands.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices and the adoption of high standards of excellence, maintaining them for all activations.
  • Develops the strategy and plan for own-brand events and activations and liaises with stakeholder to secure buy-in.
  • Events Development and Implementation: Manages end to end delivery of events across all stages including initiation, planning, design, development and execution, leveraging best practices in event management.
  • Prepares detailed project plans for all events including timelines, resource allocation, etc.
  • Manage and implement global event platforms and local event platforms pertaining to Seddiqi Holding and specific brands.
  • Organize Boutique events in coordination with the Brand, Retail and CRM teams.
  • Brainstorm, propose and coordinate the implementation of SELL OUT.
  • Liaise and coordinate activities with malls and landlords.
  • Coordinates along with Markets, VM and Image teams, the planning, sourcing and production of event elements, furniture and props.

  • Source and manage suppliers that meet brand standards, in partnership with the Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Oversee the creation of printed materials and event communications to clients.
  • Ensure quality implementation and execution of events with innovative ideas and seamless attention to detail.
  • Conduct site inspections; research and evaluate venues and facilities.
  • Ensure brand principals are receiving clear and timely communication by the project managers. relating to their projects and that it is well coordinated within team, contractors and Holding stakeholders.
  • Acts as the point of escalation on project changes including budgets, timelines, designs, etc and takes corrective actions where necessary.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan and track event costs in order to meet budget.
  • Ensure proper planning and budget control, in agreement with expected ROI results.
  • Full responsibility of event budget (forecast, revision, closing).
  • Negotiation of contracts with partners and vendors.
  • Full invoicing process, from vendor selection, vendor creation and quotation to follow-up on invoices and final payment.
  • Reporting: Communicates and reports to key stakeholders on activation calendars, results and budgeting
  • Ensure timely consolidation of post event information (qualitative and quantitative information)
  • Summarize all information in an event report to monitor performance and take necessary actions in a timely manner.
  • Seek constructive feedback from others (retail team, BTQs, wholesale managers, etc…)
  • Collaborate with CRM on ROI tracking

Requirements for Role of Events Manager

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in marketing, hospitality management or related field.
  • 5-8 years job related experience and minimum 5 years’ experience in an event management role (agency or client side). Working in the UAE, having managed high profile events.
