Al Futtaim Group is currently looking for an Aircraft Technician who will ensure proper maintenance of aircraft and or components with efficient rectification of aircraft defects as directed by the Supervisor. This is an amazing job opportunity for all of you, without any gender restrictions. 

Responsibilities of Aircraft Technician

• Assisting in relation to the accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled maintenance, structural repairs and rectification of defects or component maintenance.
• Advising the Supervisor of any impending service disruptions, problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the completion of the scheduled work.
• Keeping the Engineer/Technician supervising their work informed of all work performed by them during their duty period.
• Ensuring they adhere to published technical and safety requirements defined in published manuals and other publications as directed by their immediate Supervisor.
• Ensure that replacement parts and components are of an approved type, correctly certified and released and are physically inspected prior to fitment to aircraft or component.
• Assisting with the maintenance of the 145 GSE.
• Undertaking such other duties as may be reasonably directed by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of an Aircraft Technician are as under:

• Associate degree in aviation maintenance technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years Sheet Metal experience.
• Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Aircraft maintenance training.
• Valid unrestricted UAE driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 Year’s aviation experience essential.
• VIP experience desirable.
